Christine Bruce trained as a professional Health Physicist with MOD, and has been based at Rosyth for three decades. She has been involved in the full lifecycle of site activities over the years, from support to operational submarine refitting, through to successful nuclear infrastructure decommissioning. She now works within MOD’s Submarine Delivery Agency, specialising in Nuclear Liabilities management, including technical support to the Submarine Dismantling Project. Additionally for the past ten years, she has been leading a project engaging with the supply chain to develop innovative techniques to enable disposal of Higher Activity wastes, particularly ion-exchange resins.
