Each year OPT bring together over 200 industry leaders to celebrate the best the sector has to offer. Following the success of the launch event we are delighted to announce that this year's awards ceremony will be even bigger and better, and with the addition of a new award category.
These awards will acknowledge those companies and professionals who have worked tirelessly to develop pioneering technologies, move the sector into more challenging environments, be inspiring to others and help drive the industry forward for future growth.

This award will be presented to a company or individual that has developed an innovative technology solution that benefits the offshore pipeline industry through enhanced capability, cost reduction, increased efficiencies or improved environmental practice and safety.
Winner - Halfwave AS
This award will be presented in recognition of an individual’s outstanding long term contribution throughout the course of their career in the pipeline industry through leadership, innovation and inspiration to others.
Winner - Professor Andrew Palmer

Nominations may either be on behalf of your own company or organization, or nominate a company, organisation or individual who you believe deserves special credit for their technology innovation and/or contribution to the offshore pipeline sector.
The Awards will be presented during the OPT Dinner and Awards Ceremony on February 28th, 2018.
The nominees will be judged by the OPT Advisory Committee.

All entries should be emailed as a PDF. No entries will be accepted in hard copy. The word limit is 1,000 words. Entries must reach Sue Woolley by email on email@example.com by 9th February 2018 - CLOSED!
Entries must be written in English (in PDF format), and no longer than 1,000 words. A maximum of 2 sides of A4 in supporting documentation will be accepted.
Completed entries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by 9th February 2018 - CLOSED!
All nominations will be treated as confidential. Informa Energy Events reserves the right to publish extracts from the entry summaries submitted with entries. Information supplied in the supporting material will remain confidential.
The verdict of the Judging Panel is final and no correspondence related to the judging will be entered into.
If you are shortlisted you will be notified in advance and every effort should be made to attend the Award ceremony or to nominate a representative.
