Daniel has a degree in physics and a masters degree in medical physics. He has worked as a shielding and dose assessor for Sellafield Ltd and as a medical physicist in MTW radiotherapy department.

Daniel is currently technical lead in radiation protection for Edvance UK who are the responsible designer for the HPC and SZC projects. His role includes definition of radiological, contamination and aerosol/iodine risk zoning, production of ALARP assessments of plant design, performing assessments of the equipment and measures required for protection of workers against ionising radiation exposure and providing RP advice to engineering teams. In addition he has defined source terms and developed methodology for assessment of penetrations through shield walls.
