President at Mexican Association for Sustainable Mobility & Generation
Stephan Wittig, graduated in Mexico City with a strong financial background he specialized himself in distillation processes with a focus in the development of alcoholic beverages. As Chief Strategy Officer for Grupo Baltico, Mexico's biggest ethanol producer and distributor, he established Oxifuel® E100 Fuel Retail Stations making the group become the first fuel retailer apart from the Mexican State owned PEMEX.
As of now he is an energy consultant based in Mexico with attention on the new business opportunities derived from the country's Energy Reforms. He founded the Mexican Association for Sustainable Mobility which aims to pave to ground for the general use of biofuels and alternatives that end up in sustainable development of the environment and economy. On June 26th 2017 the proposal submitted by the Association to allow E10 in Mexico was approved by the government, creating new opportunities for trade and investment in a new Mexican ethanol industry.
