11 - 13 May 2020
Europe's leading midstream gas & LNG conference
Connecting gas markets. Enhancing security of supply. Preparing for a decarbonised future.
What to expect from Flame 2020…
LNG market dynamics
Flame 2020 provides the ideal vantage point to take stock of the current FID wave. How will the influx of new LNG shape gas prices in Europe and Asia, and what lessons can be drawn about contracts and financing from the projects that succeeded? LNG will be a mainstay of the discussion throughout Flame, but the most in-depth coverage will take place during the Global LNG Summit.
The European natural gas story
Analyse the competition between pipeline gas, LNG, coal, renewables and nuclear in the European energy mix. Will the accelerated pace of Groningen production cuts adversely affect TTF liquidity and security of supply? What progress is being made with attempts to foster market integration through new trading hubs and inter-connectors?
The gas decarbonisation package
Flame will provide a vital forum for the industry to discuss the commercial implications of the EU Commission's new decarbonisation focused gas market design, due in 2020/21. Where will additional investment in hydrogen and biomethane come from? Is the technology mature enough, and is the market ready for it? How rapidly can production be scaled-up?
Pipelines and politics
Study the geopolitics of new pipeline infrastructure, receive updates on project timelines, and make sense of a shifting regulatory landscape. Will Gazprom continue to lose market share to US LNG? What does the future hold for Ukraine, SEE and the Baltic region?
Flame Traders' Day
Free to attend for natural gas, LNG, power and commodities traders, the Flame Traders' Day is an opportunity for natural gas professionals and senior traders to exchange insights in a relaxed format with plenty of networking. The content will focus on cross-commodity supply and pricing dynamics in European energy markets.
Networking with decision makers
There's no place other than Flame in which you're going to meet so many of the right people in the same spot. Flame isn't a trade show, so our attendees are a select group – predominantly upper management and senior decision makers drawn from the LNG supply, utility, gas transmission, storage and shipping sectors.
