Sarah is the Team Lead for Gas Origination that is responsible for building and managing Shell’s gas portfolio in South and East Europe and North Africa.

She has dedicated her entire career to European gas and power trading, being instrumental in building their gas business in the region across 10+ markets with a variety of different products, from long term supply agreements to short term exotic derivatives. She holds a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and is a MSc candidate in Space Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD (USA). She has covered several commercial trading roles in her career, from Quant/Structuring to Origination, and brings a passionate, fresh and multidisciplinary perspective to the problem of energy security in Europe and the adequacy of the European gas infrastructure in the face of the recent changes in market dynamics.
