Marc Desrosiers is the head of the Radiological and Nuclear Assessment Section at Health Canada’s Radiation Protection Bureau. He has a master and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Brunswick, and is registered as a professional engineer. He has 20 years of experience working in radiation protection with a focus on the development of specialized and novel methods for radiological and nuclear decontamination, detection and characterization. Marc’s team is the technical and writing lead for the Canadian Guidelines for the Management of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials, as well as the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality: Radiological Parameters.”
