Matt is a Senior Scientist in Novozymes’ Bioenergy R&D department, based in North Carolina. He has a BS in Biochemistry from NC State University and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Florida. Matt’s area of expertise within Novozymes is in working on the development of new innovations within fermentation both in saccharification enzymes and new yeast strains for the Bioethanol industry. Outside of work, Matt enjoys pedaling almost anything with two wheels, finding awesome eateries, and enjoying hanging out with his family.
